Angel Locsin recently took to social media to recount the day ABS-CBN went off-air due to the government’s cease and desist order against the network a year ago.
On her Instagram page, the actress shared some photos and clips related to the media giant’s shutdown.
In the caption, she penned heartfelt poetry about moving forward despite the harrowing fate of the network.
“Isang taon na ang lumipas.
Pero ang sakit ay hindi lilipas.
Hirap man,
pero kailangan pa ring bumangon.
Para sa tao.
Hindi man maintindihan ng iba ang nasa puso,
Patuloy pa rin sa pagbangon.
Hindi susuko at patuloy na lumalaban.
Dahil para sa tao.
Laging para sa tao.”
