Julia Barretto just took the cudgels for the host of an online live interview that she had. It was with model-entrepreneur Mikaela Lagdameo Martinez.

The interview happened on May 1, 2021.
While the interview was ongoing, some netizens posted offensive comments directed at the looks of Mikaela, with one comment telling her to fix her hair.
This did not sit well with Julia and so she apologized to her and also came to her defense.
"I'm so sorry for some of these nasty comments coming up on your screen. Please don't mind them. These people just probably have nothing better to do in their lives."
In defense, Julia also said that it is funny how people can leave bad comments, yet at the same time, they are still watching the live.
