Lolit Solis penned a commentary on Dennis Padilla’s relationship with his ex-wife, Marjorie Barretto, and their children, including Julia Barretto.

According to Lolit, it is not helpful for Julia if there is news that her relationship with her dad Dennis is not fully okay.

She also advised Dennis to stop talking about his troubled past with Marjorie because it supposedly affects their kids negatively.

The showbiz writer also suggested for Marjorie to be the one to fix all of her issues with Dennis for the sake of their children.

Dennis was recently interviewed by Julia about their relationship, with the actor saying that he is sorry for his shortcomings as a father and that he was the one who failed in his marriage with Marjorie.

“Sayang naman Salve iyon pagta try ni Julia Barretto na maging maganda ang image niya kung lagi naman nasa issue sa kanya iyon relasyon niya sa father niyang si Dennis Padilla.

“Kasi kahit ano pang intriga, ok lang sa isang tao, ang medyo Off pag tungkol na sa family issue. Puwede mo makalaban buong mundo, pero dapat pag magulang mo, kampi mo, kaibigan mo.

“Saka ilang beses na inaayos iyon kay Dennis Padilla at sa mga anak niya kay Marjorie Barretto, sana kahit pa nga hindi sila close, puwede speaking terms sila at civil sa isa't isa. Hindi mo masisi na magkalayo mga loob nila dahil meron na silang mga ibang pamilya, pero sana walang sumbatan.

“Kanya kanya na silang buhay, pero magka dugo parin, mag ama parin. If I were Marjorie, siya na mag-ayos kasi mas affected ang mga anak niya na ngayon nasa showbiz na.

“Buti na lang at si Claudia sa singing yata nalinya kaya hindi gaanong maingay ang publicity, hindi gaya ni Julia na laging nasa news. Ok lang lahat ng balita kay Julia, huwag lang iyon parang nag aaway sila ng father niya. Iyon respeto sa kanyang ama huwag niyang alisin.

“At si Dennis naman, huwag ng lagi ay iyon past ang binabanggit, dapat isa rin siya sa mag ingat para sa image ng kanyang anak. Sayang kasi kung dahil lang sa family issues nila, hindi marating ni Jullia ang height ng career niya.

“Hindi bale iyon issue ng romance, iyon anggulo ng triangle, kilig kiligan lang iyon, pero pag issue ng pamilya, parang mas sensitive. So ceasefire na muna iyan mga sumbatan. Back to work na,” Lolit posted on Instagram.
