Gerald Anderson, ni-repost ang post ni Sec. Teddy Locsin na pagmumura at pagpapalayas sa China
- Gerald Anderson reposts the post of DFA Sec. Teddy Locsin, Jr. lambasting China for the presence of its ships in the seas within the territorial jurisdiction of the Philippines
- In a post that veered away from diplomatic niceties characteristic of a diplomat, Sec. Locsin lets loose a screaming F-word that would put anyone to shame
- The act of Gerald appears to indicate that he supports the move of Locsin against China
- This is understandable as the actor himself is a Philippine Navy reservist, the military branch in charge of protecting the territorial waters of the Philippines

Gerald Anderson recently reposted on his Instagram Stories the post of DFA Secretary Teddy Locsin, Jr. where he badmouthed China for its indifference towards the continued protests of the Philippines against its presence in the West Philippine Sea.

Gerald is a reservist of the Philippine Navy, the military service branch that is responsible for protecting the country’s territorial waters against unauthorized incursions, which is why it is understandable if he supports the position of Sec. Locsin.
In the post of Sec. Locsin, he first wrote as if pondering on how to best approach the issue, as the country consider China as its friend.
After that, he lets loose a huge F-word, asking why China is doing this to a country it calls its friend.
“China, my friend, how politely can I put it? Let me see... O... GET THE F*** OUT. What are you doing to our friendship?” the post of DFA Sec. Locsin read.
This is not the first time that the secretary has protested against Chinese incursion in the WPS.
For the past several weeks, his department has been sending diplomatic protests almost on a daily basis.
Those are apparently being ignored as China continues to maintain its presence in the area.
This perhaps drove the secretary to post harsh words against China, which many people, perhaps including Gerald Anderson, agree to.

LCDR (Lt. Comdr.-reserve) Gerald Anderson’s desire to join the Philippine Navy, even as a reservist, might have come from the fact that his brother is also with the US Navy. Two years ago, the actor proudly shared on his Instagram account that his brother is a certified US Navy.
Even when making his cryptic posts, the actor would sometimes use Philippine Navy ships as backdrop. In a recent post where the actor wrote getting the best if one is patient, he sits on the dock where the BRP Jose Rizal is moored. He is also wearing the official cap of the Philippine Navy ship.
