Dennis explained to his daughter about the case of two marriage papers at the NSO and how it came to happen.
He also regretted he did not fight for his marriage with Marjorie, which he claims to be legal.
“You know Julia, I was thinking ha, kung pinaglaban ko yun, my marriage with your mom would become legal. That was the legal marriage,” Dennis insisted.
The actress then asked what was the actor’s takeaway from all that happened and from his separation with Marjorie.
The veteran comedian then said that even if they did not have that problem with the marriage contract, it wouldn’t have worked as their relationship at the time was already rocky.
“Kahit siguro di naman kami nagkaproblema sa marriage contract, yung relationship namin nun medyo ano na, it became rocky because of my attitude, because of my temper,” Dennis explained.
“Marami din akong dinaanan nun na, kaya ako naging ganun. Ang mommy mo, marami ding dinaanang pagsubok dahil sa naging ugali ko,” the veteran comedian added.
He then owned up to all his mistakes, saying that if there is anyone to be blamed, it is him.
“Actually, i'm the one to be blamed. Walang kasalanan ang nanay mo,” Dennis said.
