Piolo Pascual and Regine Velasquez recently shared their memorable experiences on the first movie that they did together.
In a virtual conference of the restored and remastered movie “Paano Kita Iibigin,” both of them revisited scenes that made a mark on their memories.

Piolo and Regine narrated some of their experiences while doing their first movie.
“Masarap lang siyang balikan because, hindi na ganun ‘yung disiplina natin sa pag-arte, mas less na ‘yung tao na involved,” Piolo said.
Nevertheless, the actor said that doing movies with Star Cinema is filled with fun memories because the people involved have so much respect in creating a good movie.
“Makikita mo na sila ‘yung hindi nagtitipid sa re-shoot, hindi sila nagtitipid kung kailangang alisin o bawasan, kasi what’s the intention is to come up with a beautiful film,” the actor added.
Taking note of the modern way a film is being made right now, Piolo said his experience with filmmaking before is very much different.
“Grabe ‘yung depth ng ilaw na’tin inilawan niya ‘yung sa office sa Mandaluyong, inilawan niya ‘yung buong warehouse, inilawan niya ‘yung buong dagat. Wow and this is film,” Piolo recalled.
For Regine, she said that the movie’s theme song, which she and Piolo gave life to, made a huge impact on her and left a mark in her memory.

Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez, better known as Regine Velasquez, is a Filipino singer, actress, and record producer who came to prominence after winning the 1984 Ang Bagong Kampeon and the 1989 Asia Pacific Singing Contest. She was born on April 22, 1970. In 1986, Regine signed a contract with OctoArts International under the name Chona and released the single “Love Me Again,” which unfortunately, was unsuccessful commercially. After adopting the stage name Regine Velasquez, she signed a recording contract with VIVA Records in 1987 and released her eponymous debut album containing the singles “Kung Maibabalik Ko Lang” and “Urong Sulong.”
Piolo Jose Nonato Pascual, or Piolo Pascual, on the other hand, is a Filipino film and television actor, singer, model, and producer. He was born on January 12, 1977 and started his career in That's Entertainment in 1994. He also appeared in some TV shows including Mara Clara, and Gimik.

However, Asia’s Songbird has deleted her tweet regarding her worries and support for ABS-CBN.
In the meantime, Piolo showed his simple resthouse, which the actor said, is a product of his hard work in the showbiz industry, including movies under Star Cinema. Medical power couple Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho visited the actor at the said resthouse located in Batangas. The actor told the couple that he enjoys provincial life more than that in Metro Manila.
