The new post shows the actor sitting on a chair or couch in what appears like a viewing deck, quietly staring at the staring sun.

He then captioned his post stating that the real flex is staying, the meaning of which is unclear for many though some friends might know based on their written replies.

“The real flex is staying grateful no matter what,” the actor wrote alongside his post.

Barely two days ago, the actor also posted a photo of him staring at a distance again and holding a phone to his ear.

Among the words he wrote on that particular post are “stay strong.”

As if to strengthen the thought that he might be going through something, Gerald, in a recent interview with Toni Gonzaga lamented how online bashings affected him.

The actor complained that some bashers apparently don’t care whether he is hurt or not at what they’re saying just as long as they say what they want to say.

Despite being at the receiving end of most bashings, Gerald takes comfort in the fact that his GF, Julia Barretto fully supports him, as well as some friends in showbiz.
