Alessandra De Rossi has been vocal regarding her thoughts on what is currently happening in the country with the rise of COVID-19 cases.
However, some netizens did not approve of her sentiments and berated her for making comparisons between the Philippines and Italy. According to the netizens, they believe that the socioeconomic disparity between the two countries does not make for a fair comparison.
"Instead of complaining in what is happening nowadays let's help one another through prayers kasi yung kaso hindi lang sa PILIPINAS swerte nga natin kasi mag 1 million pa lang compare here in Italy na rich COUNTRY tapos population konti lang pero milliones na ang kaso."
Alessandra responded with her own thoughts on the matter and wrote, "Sabi ko nga let's compare ourselves to those who are doing good, so we can do better. Pag sa worst ka kasi magcocompare, talagang di mo gagalingan kasi hindi ka kulelat. But why? Life and death to."
