Yam Concepcion opens up about doing love scenes in new interview with Boy Abunda

Yam Concepcion had an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda for ABS-CBN Entertainment which aired on their YouTube channel on April 19, 2021.
In the interview, Yam talked about her new teleserye, "Init sa Magdamag" where she played the role of the female lead Rita who gets caught up in a love triangle between Gerald Anderson's character Tupe and Peterson who is played by actor JM De Guzman.
One of the questions asked during the interview was regarding the love scenes in the drama. Boy inquired, "Paano ba gumawa ng love scene? You kiss, I mean you can't fake a kiss. You touch each other. You can't fake that. How do you actors do it?"

According to the actress, you have to trust the director and your on-screen partner. Yam also mentioned that she has been lucky as all the actors she has had to perform a love scene with were respectful and professional.
Yam also explained that there needs to be open communication so everyone is aware of their boundaries. She further said that when actors are performing a love scene, it is not them but their characters playing out the scene.
