- Lolit, however, said that there is a deeper reason why Migo left showbiz for Australia
Lolit Solis recently disclosed what she believed was the real reason why Migo Adecer decided to turn his back on showbiz and return to Australia.
On April 9, Migo, a StarStruck Ultimate Male Survivor, bared his intention to leave showbiz and go back home to Australia.
“To the Philippines I bid you farewell, to @gmanetwork @artistcenter I say thank you for the epic opportunity to work for you guys!” Migo said.
He also bid his fans goodbye. “To Migonatics thank you for the love and support and for one last time, Keep Up The Hype! See you on the flip side ( get it? )!” the StarStruck Ultimate Male Survivor added.
Many were taken aback by the sudden decision and speculations immediately started floating.
For Lolit Solis, however, she believes that she knows the real reason why Migo left.
“Talagang mas ginusto na ni Migo Adecer ang umuwi sa Australia kaysa mag stay dito sa Pinas, Salve,” the veteran entertainment columnist wrote in an Instagram post.
“Ang hirap nga naman na mag isa lang siya dito habang nagtatrabaho. To think na isang napaka complex na propesyon ang showbiz para sa isang baguhan, pero matagal din tiniis ni Migo na mag isa,” Lolit added.
She also said that Migo might have experienced a deep sense of home sickness and is already longing for the companionship of his family.
“Imagine mo nga na kahit noon nagkaroon siya ng car accident, mag isa lang niyang hinarap ang nangyari,” Lolit said. She also wished Migo success in whatever field he plans to go into in the future.

Lolit A. Solis is a Filipina talk show host, entertainment news writer, and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in Manila, Philippines. There is not much information about her background but she did indicate once that she grew up in the squatter’s area within Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. The place is near the National University, where she once attended a journalism seminar.
Recently, the veteran showbiz columnist also gave her reaction to Toni Gonzaga’s recent comment that she is not afraid to lose her fame. She said that she does not understand the logic of Toni’s comment and that it was an unnecessary statement. According to Lolit, it is already obvious that Toni will be able to have a good life even after she loses fame because the actress’s mother was able to handle her finances well. Toni’s husband, director Paul Soriano, is also very capable of supporting her financially, Lolit said.
Lolit also gave her two cents on the ongoing conflict between ex-lovers Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson. The possible reason for the intensity of Bea and Gerald’s rift is they truly loved each other, Lolit said. She also expressed her sympathies for Gerald’s current girlfriend, Julia Barretto, and Bea’s suitor, Dominic Roque. The entertainment writer speculated that Julia and Dominic must be frustrated that Gerald and Bea seem to be unable to get away from each other’s shadows.
