Jean Garcia was surprised when they discovered after cremation that her mother had green bones.

In an exclusive interview with the actress in 24 Oras, the actress said that these bones, according to many of her Chinese friends are very rare.
These bones do not normally manifest but they are only found in individuals who are said to be really good.
"Yung greenbones pala it's very rare. Hindi lahat ng tao pag sinunog may green bones. 'Yung green bones daw ang ibig sabihin nung nabubuhay pa si Mommy napakabuti n'yang tao sa kapwa n'ya," said Jean.
"Sabi ko nga, 'Good job, Mommy.' At kung mamatay man ako, magpapa-cremate din ako at sana may green bones din ako," said Jean.
She also said that she is so proud of her mom, such that even if her mom died, there is something that she and her siblings can be proud of.
