On Tuesday, March 30, KAMI learned that the couple broke the big news to the public after Ellen posted photos from their engagement on social media.
Following this news, various videos of Ellen and Derek celebrating the happy event together have circulated all over the net.

In one video, Ellen could be seen pulling away from Derek as if she is still in shock over his proposal.
The actor could then be seen hugging her eventually which earned a few cheers and awws from the people.
Meanwhile, in one of the videos posted online, Derek could be seen carrying Elias, the son of Ellen with actor John Lloyd Cruz.
As he carried Elias, dancing to the beat of the music, Ellen made netizens laugh as she was spotted dancing happily beside them.
Netizens doubled in laughter when Derek looked at the camera, doing a circling motion with his finger beside his head which also made Ellen laugh.
