- Kakai Bautista’s management and legal team responded to the allegations being made by the alleged management team of Mario Maurer
- Bautista’s camp repudiated in strongest terms the accusations hurled by Kwaonhar Nine Nine Co., Ltd against Bautista
- They said the Thai company’s claims have no legal or factual basis
- The actress’ camp also asked for proof from the Thai company that they indeed legally represent actor Mario Maurer
After several days of hiatus, the camp of Kakai Bautista finally responded to the accusations hurled against her by Kwaonhar Nine Nine Co., Ltd, the alleged management company of Thai actor Mario Maurer.
In a legal statement shared by the actress’ management team to PUSH, they vehemently and firmly deny in the strongest possible terms the allegations made by the so-called ‘Authorized Attorney’ of the Thai actor’s agency against Bautista.
Bautista’s camp also said Kwaonhar’s claim that Kakai ‘improperly exploited’ and issued ‘false statements’ about Mario Maurer and his group reeks of libel, which is a crime under Philippine laws.
The management and legal team of Kakai also expressed alarm and shock at how a private letter, which damages the image and reputation of their client, would find its way to the Philippine media.
The statement also clarified that Kakai only shared her experiences with the Thai actor and she did not engage in any falsehoods.
“The truth of the matter is that any and all factual allegations of our Client as to her experience, connection, and communication with Mr. Maurer and the latter’s team are only based on truthful occurrences as substantiated by evidence and done without any malice or bad faith on her part,” the statement read.
In the latter part of the statement, Kakai’s management and legal team questioned the identity of the individual who introduced himself as the legal counsel of Kwaonhar Nine Nine Co., Ltd.
“In this regard, we have demanded from the alleged attorney of Mr. Mario Maurer’s agency to prove his identity and authority to send Cease and Demand letter on behalf of Mr. Maurer and the latter’s agency,” Bautista’s legal team said.

About a week ago, Kakai received a warning from the camp of Mario Maurer telling her to cease and desist from using the Thai actor's name. The cease and desist letter came from Kwaonhar Nine Nine Co., Ltd., the agency that handles the career of Mario. The said letter revealed that it has reached the agency that Kakai was allegedly using Mario's name in several interviews. Addressing the manager of Kakai, it stated that Kakai allegedly continues to use the name of Mario without consent.
Recently, Kakai updated her social media account amid the current controversy she is involved in. Just recently, it was reported that Kakai allegedly received a letter from Mario Maurer's agency.
