According to Rommel, Claire treated him and the other friends of Christine as her own children and that she did all she could to help them in their case.
Claire got heavily involved with Rommel and his friends because her son Gigo de Guzman was also accused of foul play in Christine’s death.
Rommel also said sorry to Claire because he was not able to thank her for all of her help.
“I don’t know what to say, tita/mami Claire isa ka sa mga kilala ko na sobrang bait at busilak ang puso. Ang dami mong natulungan na tao even Us.
“Lagi ka nag update sa amin about the case.
“Sorry Mami Claire hnd man lang ako nakapag pasalamat sayo.
“We LOVE YOU Tita/Mami Claire . Rest in Peace,” Rommel posted on Facebook.
Christine Dacera became well-known all over the country after she died on January 1 after partying all night with her male friends.
The PNP filed rape charges against some of the men she partied with but the Makati Prosecutor’s Office ordered their release due to lack of evidence for rape.
Her friends have also denied the rape allegation but Sharon Dacera has insisted that there was foul play involved in her daughter’s death. A medico-legal was also released later by PNP that says Christine died of natural causes.
