The meme he reposted indirectly describes women as "cute and look harmless but they are loud, incredibly expensive to keep, and absolutely untrainable."

“Do I sound bitter?!?!?!” Edu captioned.

He furthermore clarified, “You can say the same about men!”

However, the netizen commented that his post is perpetuating misogyny.

“Wow! I do admire you but memes like this just keep perpetuating the misogyny of women just being themselves. Untrainable? Why would you want to train and control someone you love? Sorry if I’m taking it seriously. I wish these jokes were not around. Bata pa ako ganito na. Ngayong matanda na ako, women have made so much progress, ganito pa rin. Hayz”
