Pokwang showed the stuff she’s made of when she confronted her online bashers head-on.
It can be recalled that her online bashers called her names, including “pangit” (ugly) and “chaka” (a term that means a perfect example of what ugly is), after the actress posted her views and sentiments on the country’s situation.
Previously, the comedienne posted a tweet about the alarming rise of COVID-19 cases in the country.
On Monday, Pokwang also tweeted a joke about the new guidelines released by the government on the general community quarantine within the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby provinces.
The government called it the NCR Region Plus bubble, which include the NCR, as well as provinces of Cavite, Rizal, Bulacan, and Laguna.
Under the NCR Plus bubble, affected areas will be under a stricter GCQ from March 22 to April 4.
After the announcement, the comedienne tweeted: “NCR- plus with ginkgo biloba Shirota strain!!! Plus glutathione,” with the post ending with a clapping hands emoji.
Netizens who saw her tweet told the actress to simply become a law-abiding citizen. “Mag law abiding citizen ka na lang!!! Para makatulong ka sa sambayanan,” the netizen told Pokwang.
Not to be cowed, the actress fired back, saying: “so yung tax na binabayad ko hindi ako nakakatulong? G*GO!!!!” She also said being obedient and gullible are two different things. “Magkaiba po ang masunurin sa uto utong TANGA!!!!!!” Pokwang said.
The actress also emphasized that she has all the right to make her sentiments known, particularly as the situation already affects her family and employees.
