During an interview with Monster RX 93.1, they revealed so many details on their relationship that were not publicized before.

Ellen said that Derek was very respectful and that it took a long time before he actually kissed her.
About their first kiss, both said that it was pangit.
"You're supposed to kiss with your lips. I had a very good encounter with her teeth," said Derek.
While Derek insisted that it was their first kiss, Ellen considered it as a smack. But both agreed on one thing, it was not the cutest nor the most beautiful.
Both said that the first kiss was, "ang pangit."
At any rate, the real kiss happened in the car and he said that it was Ellen who kissed him.
"So I dropped her off to her house. And then she goes in for the kiss. Bam!" recounted the actor.
Ellen quickly walked away and was out of the car after giving Derek the kiss.

Derek Ramsay called out a netizen who commented with the name of Andrea in his latest post. The post showed his and Ellen's morning routine, with the shot taken in the bathroom. The netizen said that "Andrea left the group" and even attached three laughing emojis to his comment. It obviously did not sit well with Derek that he called him out and said, "Don't be like that pls."
He slammed some of the netizens who said rude things about Andrea and another of his ex-girlfriends Joanne Villablanca. He also defended them from the bashers. Recently, he said that Andrea deserves someone who is better. This came after he said that soon he will find the right one.
