Heart Evangelista expressed her excitement about the upcoming TV series titled “I Left My Heart In Sorsogon” where she will portray a starring role alongside Richard “Sir Chief” Yap. In an interview, the Kapuso star shared her thoughts about her new leading man.
The first lady of Sorsogon said she has heard so many good things about the popular actor. “We have common friends and I heard na mabait siya and easy to work with and I’m also very easy so masaya,” said Heart.
The style icon revealed she is very excited about the new TV series, especially that it features the province of Sorsogon, where husband Chiz Escudero is the Governor. She said this is her dream project.
In an interview with Chika Minute of "24 Oras", she was asked if she had any plans of returning to TV and again do a soap opera. The actress immediately said that if it will feature Sorsogon, then she will gladly go for it.
Heart would often feature the province in some of her vlogs, as well as promoting its tourist spots and local products. With her recent revelation about the new project, it would seem that her wish had been granted.
What made it more exciting for the “Hiram na Mukha” star is the notion that she will be working with the famed “Sir Chief” of the popular daytime romantic-comedy soap “Be Careful With My Heart.”
The new series would serve as her television comeback since her last TV soap, "My Korean Jagiya", where the fashion icon starred alongside South Korean actor Alexander Lee, happened way back in 2017.
According to reports, Heart and the rest of her co-stars, as well as the film crew, are now setting up for the lock-in taping, which would last for about a month.
The actress also shared in past interviews that her Hollywood flick, which was shot in China, is due for release soon. She also disclosed she has a scheduled gig in the Big Apple. The style icon, however, did not provide any more details regarding these international projects. But for sure, she will, soon enough. Just stay tuned.

Recently, Heart Evangelista made a vlog and answered all the rumors circulating about her. These include rumors about her love life, personal life, and even those about her work. She also took that opportunity to say that if there is one thing she uses as a measure of whether a person is kind, it is whether they know how to say thank you to the guard or the server.
In the past, the style icon also created a vlog to show her reaction to her old videos on social media. She featured an old video where she and Geoff Eigenmann were being interviewed for “Hiram na Mukha.” Heart admitted that the project was one of the worst teleseryes that she did, citing her difficulty in portraying the role because of the “taong unggoy” prosthetics.
