Kris Aquino denied widespread rumors that she’s dating anew, insisting that she is single. In her Instagram post, the actress shared photos of her dining out with fashion designer Michael Leyva. The photo was said to have been taken on February 25.
She captioned the photo with: “Single, not dating, peaceful, trying to get healthier. Maiksi ang caption, I'm learning how to say less.”

The Queen of All Media’s post came only days after reports from several media outlets stated that she went out on a dinner date at a Makati restaurant recently with Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste.
The report, which was posted the following day, February 26, claimed that the two were accompanied by Leviste’s son and a friend of Kris, “who did not want to be named.” It also referred to the Mark as the “newest suitor” of the actress.
Citing unidentified sources, the report alleged that the vice governor often “waits for Kris to go down to the lobby of a serviced residence in BGC, even if sometimes she never meets him.” Because of this, Kris allegedly agreed finally to go out with Leviste as he insists on taking her out to dinner.
In March of 2020, Kris revealed why she refuses to have a romantic relationship with Leviste. She explained it is not healthy to see someone when she knows in her heart that feelings for another is not totally gone.
“Repairing what’s broken is a job only for the one who still grieves because the new person had nothing to do with what is your personal pain from the past. Unless I resolve that, I have no business letting someone new into my life,” the actress said.
The Queen of All Media also said the vice governor apparently lacks a sensitivity chip. “He wasn’t very polite with his text messages... that’s why I chose the safe out—bringing up someone from the past—it’s much more proper because nobody is to blame,” Kris said.
She also revealed she is not easily flattered with IG comments because, for her, words are nothing when they are not backed by action.

The Batangas politician first made his presence felt in 2019 when the former presidential daughter and sister posted a public invitation to single men who between 41 and 55 years old to add her private Facebook account. Mark then wrote, “Looking for someone single, aged 41?” on the Instagram page of Kris.
