Pokwang took to social media to send a heartwarming birthday greeting for famous director and manager, Johnny Manahan. Mr. M, who was born in 1947, turns 73 today, February 11.
KAMI learned that Pokwang expressed her respect for Mr. M, telling him that she will always love and respect him whatever happens in her life.
In her viral post, she also wished him happiness, good health and protection for his entire family.
Mr. M was in the news weeks ago after he shared his complaints about ABS-CBN. He explained that there should only be one management in the network that handles talents instead of the different managements operating there these days.
After ABS-CBN was shut down on TV and radio, both Mr. M and Pokwang took shows on other networks.
“#respect Happy birthday tatay.... mahal kita kahit ano mangyari at kahit saan ako makarating di mawawala ang Respeto at pasasalamat ko sayo.
“wish you good health and may God protect you always and your family po... happy birthday,” Pokwang posted on Instagram.
Marietta Subong or Pokwang is a famous comedian, host, and actress. Some of her popular movies are “Call Center,” “A Mother’s Story,” and “Edsa Woolworth.”
She is in a relationship with actor Lee O’Brian and they have a daughter named Malia. The star also has a daughter named Ria Mae from a previous relationship.
