Dingdong Dantes defended by fans amidst issue with Lindsay de Vera

Dingdong Dantes is being linked to the issue involving an actress's alleged pregnancy, but his fans immediately came to the rescue.

Aside from Robin Padilla, Dingdong Dantes is also being involved in the blind item about a controversial actress who was impregnated by a very popular actor.
Previously, the public speculated that the said actress is Mocha Uson, and Robin Padilla was named to be the father. However, both parties denied the allegation.
Now, the spotlight has been shifted to "Alyas Robinhood" co-actors, Dingdong and Lindsay de Vera.
Using the Twitter handle @Dingdongdantes, the Kapuso star’s fans club responded to the accusation thrown at the actor.
“Thank you to all people who still believe in Dingdong and Marian. The best kayo! Sorry if I made a mess in some parts, I was carried by my emotions. But there is one thing for sure, the issue about Dong is not true,” one of its tweets goes.

According to the fans club, the source of the blind item, which is the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), already cleared out Dingdong’s name.
However, they mentioned a certain Andrew Olivar, who is alleged to be Mocha’s friend, as the person behind the fake details.
“The rumor began with PEP. They made it clear that it's not Dingdong. But this Andrew Olivar, a friend of M, is producing fake details to contaminate the blind item, & these DDS b/vloggers got a chance to strike Dong inaccurately. People on Twitter are bright enough, think better,” another tweet goes.
According to Dong’s supporters, the involvement of the actor started with Olivar’s social media post, which has been deleted already. They said that Mocha's camp is just trying to divert the attention from them.
On his part, Dingdong chose not to react to the alleged fake news.
