Arci Muñoz was able to keep herself productive during the COVID-19 pandemic by learning new skills, including the Japanese and Korean writing systems.
In one episode of ABS-CBN Entertainment’s Kapamilya Chat, the actress shared about what kept her busy during the pandemic.
Arci shared her realizations about 2020 first. According to her, she realized that she should grab every opportunity to achieve goals.
“So if you can do it now — whatever you love the most — do it now, do it responsibly. Ako naman kasi I always grab opportunities and I really set goals.
“So nu’ng 2020 sabi ko ‘Oh my gosh. I really have to achieve that goal as soon as possible,” Arci said.
She also pondered on how short life is.
“Life is really short, if you’re going to realize talaga and that’s what 2020 taught me.”
For these reasons, Arci decided to spend her time indoors acquiring new skills.
Being an avid fan of “Sailor Moon”, a Japanese manga series, and the K-Pop group BTS, the 32-actress devoted some time to learn how to write in Japanese and Korean.
Arci was able to learn the two Japanese writing systems, Hiragana and Katakana. Also, she learned writing in Hangul, the Korean writing system.
“Natuto din ako magsulat ng Hiragana, Katakana tsaka magsulat ng Hangul,” she revealed.
Aside from these, Arci also learned the skill of setting up shooting equipment—and of course, shooting itself.
“Natuto pa ako mag-shoot, mag-setup ng ilaw kasi kami ang nag-shu-shoot sa mga sarili namin sa bahay, ‘di ba?”
Arci Muñoz is a Filipina singer and actress. She is the vocalist of the rock band Philia. Currently, she can be seen in the Kapamilya television series “Walang Hanggang Paalam”.
Last year, Arci also trained to be a sergeant at the Philippine Air Force. She was able to survive the Basic Citizen Military Training in 30 days. She even shared on social media the wounds she got from wearing combat boots.
