Miss Teen USA 2020 says she admires Sarah Geronimo, Catriona Gray

Miss Teen USA 2020 Ki'ilani Arruda, who happens to be a Filipino-American, shared about her winning moment and revealed the Filipino celebrities she looks up to.

In an interview for ABS-CBN News, the Fil-Am beauty admitted that she was very shocked and could not believe that she won the Miss Teen USA crown for 2020.
"When I was crowned I was in pure shock and disbelief just for getting where I was, even I was standing at the top 2, because Miss Teen USA is something that so many girls stive to achieve and it is such a great accomplishment," she said.
Ki'ilani also shared that she thought of her competitors as all beautiful and accomplished. For that reason, she was already grateful for being part of the top 2.
Having a Filipino mother introduced Ki'ilani to the Philippine culture and even the entertainment industry. Aside from sharing that she loves foods, such as lumpia, halo-halo, and pork adobo, she revealed that there are Filipino celebrities that she really admires.

Miss Teen USA 2020 proudly shared that she is a fan of Sarah Geronimo.
"I have been listening to some music. Sarah Geronimo, I just love her her song 'Tala' is one of my favorite songs," she said.
The Hawaiian born girl also revealed that she looks up to Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. She even wants to visit the Philippines someday and hopes she meets the beauty queen.
Ki'ilani also talked about her advocacy during her reign as the Miss Teen USA 2020. She said that she aims to promote awareness about autism. She revealed that her younger brother has autism, which is why she wants to raise awareness for the said condition.
