Gladys Reyes revealed on social media earlier this week that her father suffered from a heart attack.
The celebrity mom also shared that her father had to undergo an angiogram which the actress mentioned was "not just any ordinary angio."
Following this news, KAMI learned that Gladys revealed in one of her latest online posts that she was called by the doctors "to make an important decision" over her father's case.

In her first update, Gladys revealed that while the angiogram has benefits, it also has risks that might affect her father's kidney.
"Today is my papa's angiogram, not just an ordinary angio, though it has benefits but it also has risks most specially the dye that might affect his kidney, we are praying wag naman. I have faith, God is in control," the actress wrote.
Gladys also shared a screenshot of her video call with her dad who was at the hospital in her online post.

In her next update, Gladys shared a photo of herself wearing PPE at the hospital where she mentioned she was called to decide what to do with her father's case.
"From angiogram this morning to angioplasty now. I was called by the doctor to make an important decision after they saw in angiogram it doesn't look good.
"Since I'm the "panganay" and my mama is a senior and not allowed in the hospital. After consulting the family, I had to decide. Doctors explained the risks and I prayed hard."
Gladys went on to share that she felt emotional at that moment as she was only by herself at the hospital.
"I know God is in control. Nakakapanibago lang wala kang karamay sa tabi mo because of strict safety protcols which I understand, I just can't help to feel a bit emotional but I know I'm not alone, God is with me."

Gladys Reyes is an actress who first rose to fame after starring as 'Clara' in the hit drama television series, "Mara Clara" alongside Judy Ann Santos. She is married to Christopher Roxas and they have four children together.
Previously, Gladys revealed in one of her online posts that they had to rush her father to the hospital after he experienced "severe chest pain."
The actress also made headlines when she posted a throwback photo of herself when she joined Little Miss Philippines back in 1984.
