While his motorcycle business is called “Gwapings Moto”, his new food business venture will be known as “Gwapigs Porkchop.”
Both of these enterprises got their names from “Gwapings”, the ‘90s all-male group which the actor was part of. The group was composed of all teen actors. Aside from Eric, it also included Jomari Yllana, Mark Anthony Fernandez, and, later on, Jao Mapa.
Aside from the motorcycle and food businesses, Eric and his wife have a construction business too.

Eric Fructuoso is a Filipino actor, hip hop dancer, comedian, and entrepreneur. He and the rest of Gwapings rose to popularity in the early 1990s. Currently, he has been portraying more mature supporting roles. He was seen in recent series, such as “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”, “Kadenang Ginto”, and “24/7”.
Sad to say, not all celebrities who have been into businesses have been thriving well lately. For instance, Alden Richards had to temporarily close one of his restaurants due to the pandemic. Even some of the popular comedy bars, such as Klownz and Zirkoh, also went bankrupt, which affected its talents.
