Jodi Sta. Maria’s son, Thirdy, says 'mom deserves the whole world'

Jodi Sta. Maria was touched when her son, Thirdy Lacson, expressed wanting to give her the whole world and appreciated her hard work and sacrifices for him.

In her latest vlog, which was uploaded on January 1, Jodi and Thirdy did a ‘make-up challenge’. Thirdy would be doing his mom’s make-up while answering various questions from netizens.
Among the questions sent by Jodi’s followers, one led to a heartwarming conversation between the mother and son. The question was addressed to Thirdy:
“If you could give your mom anything, what would it be and why?”
Jodi’s fifteen-year-old son gave a serious and thoughtful answer:
“Si mommy deserve niya ang buong mundo. Kasi lahat ng sacrifices ni mommy para sa akin ‘di ko naman magagawa ‘yun para sa kanya, eh.
“[Si] mommy nagwo-work hard palagi..
“Ngayon ngang may COVID kaysa mag-rest siya nagwo-work siya para sa amin para may malagay sa table namin.”

Thirdy continued to express his appreciation for his mom. According to him, he sees mothers as superheroes.
“‘Yung mga mommy talaga para silang mga superhero.”
Jodi was almost speechless hearing what her son said about her. She thanked and gave him a hug.
The actress gave her thoughts, addressing both Thirdy and her viewers:
“You know what, as a mother.. it’s so important.. it’s very affirming—what you said—anak, and validating..
“‘Yung alam mo na may nagagawa kang tama para sa anak mo, para sa pamilya mo.” Jodi said.
