Director Joey Reyes recently aired his frank analogy between plots of Pinoy teleseryes and Korean dramas, which made some of his celebrity friends react.
KAMI learned that actresses Ina Feleo and Wilma Doesnt poked fun at the award-winning director’s enumeration of cliché storylines of several Filipino series.
The filmmaker even compared it to famous K-dramas which many Filipino audiences are currently patronizing.

Ina then commented, “My curls are shaking.”
“Ina, I fell off my chair laughing. KULOT TALAGA, FRIEND?” Direk Joey replied.
“Guilty as charged,” Ina answered along with a picture of her showing her curly hair.
Wilma likewise commented about the usual choice of skin tone between protagonists and antagonists in teleseryes in the country.
“At kpag sa atin dapat ang bida maputi,” she wrote.
“Wilma Dassent Mas masarap api-apihin raw ang mga Tisay o mga palasak sa gluta,” Direk Joey replied.
“hahaha ganun ba un?!?!!teka umpisahan ko ng lumaklak nyan...” Wilma said in jest.
Jose Javier Reyes is a multi-awarded film director in the Philippines. He was the person who helmed the success of several movies such as “One Night Only,” “Katas ng Saudi” and “Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo.” He has won awards at the Gawad Urian, Metro Manila Film Festival and Filipino Star Awards for Movies, among others for his films.
Last year, he instantly drew flak in the online world because of a statement that he threw about the judges in “Idol Philippines.” He mentioned the names of Jed Madela, Morisette Amon, and Gary Valenciano as replacements of the three judges in the show.
The director also spoke up about the accident that Eddie Garcia figured in. He said what happened to Manoy should be a wakeup call to those who are responsible in running a shoot.
