Clara Tan, known as one of Maureen Wroblewitz’s toughest contenders during Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 recently sent the online world abuzz with her unfiltered photos.
She posted some raw photos of her without being edited and bravely opened up about her weight gain. Clara shared a message of embracing her body and its flaws.

Clad in nothing but a two-piece black underwear, the model was unafraid to bare it all.
“Hi! My name is Clara Tan. I'm 25 years old and I used to be a model. This is my body that everyone used to say is perfect. I gained 17kg but that's okay because I'm happy. I started dieting since I'm 18, now I can eat whatever I want," she wrote.
She admitted feeling insecure about her body but she learned to accept her flaw.
Clara also reminded her followers that IG photos are not real as it undergoes editing. She urged the netizens to be confident with their bodies by showing their flaws with confidence just as she did.
Some of her NTM batchmates Maureen, Shikin, and Dorothy Petzold of Thailand commented on her post showing their love and support.

Clara Tan represented Indonesia along with two other contestants in Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 where she finished up being the fourth placer.
She exited the show right before the final three was announced leaving Maureen, Shikin Gomez of Malaysia and Minh Tu Nguyen of Vietnam in the Top 3.
