Catriona Gray is making headlines anew after she demanded the tabloid newspaper Bulgar to pay a P10 million settlement for circulating “altered” topless photos of her.

Aside from seeking the amount for the “immeasurable damage” to her reputation, reports say that according to a demand letter, the Miss Universe 2018's camp also asked a public apology from the publication.

It can be recalled that the fabricated photos were posted on the tabloid's Facebook page on July 18, and were featured in a print article the next day.

The said photos show a bath tub and a blurred one where the beauty queen is seemingly not wearing anything for her top.

On July 21, Catriona personally went to the National Bureau of Investigation regarding the “fake” malicious photo of her that went viral on social media.

Her legal camp also previously said that they were coordinating with the authorities to hold accountable whoever edited the photo and spread it online.

"We will likewise take legal action against those involved in the manufacture and publication of said photo.”
"We strongly denounce this vicious attempt to tarnish the good name of Ms. Gray.”
