Raffy Tulfo’s blunt reaction to motorcycle barrier for COVID-19 goes viral

Raffy Tulfo, a known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, recently aired his frank reaction to the idea that there should be a protective divider on two-wheeled vehicles.
KAMI learned that the said move was approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of the Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-MEID) in the hope of preventing riders from having physical contact with their passengers.
Although there are people who do not agree with the said idea, the Joint Task Force COVID Shield still pushes through and they even set the deadline of installation to July 26.
In the recent episode of “Wanted sa Radyo,” Raffy admitted that there are netizens who are urging him to comment on the motorcycle barrier that is being implemented for riders.
The veteran broadcast-journalist first clarified that he supports the government in all of its efforts against the novel coronavirus.

He stated that although he is not a rider, he will use his common sense in reacting to the said idea.
The prominent personality just threw three questions to the IATF, the group that serves as the “creator” or implementer of the said move.

“Meron ho bang isa sa inyo na sertipikadong rider o beteranong rider na maraming karanasan sa pagmo-motorsiklo? Pangalawang katanungan para sa mga taga-IATF, kayo po ba ay kumonsulta sa mga eksperto? Halimbawa po, sa mga manufacturer ng motor o sa isang aerodynamics engineer…
“Pangatlo, hindi ho kaya redundant yan? Sana po bago kayo mag-conceptualize ng isang bagay, dapat po meron na kayong karanasan tungkol diyan… Wag ho kayong gagawa ng sariling patakaran na kayo-kayo lang…
“Hindi ko maintindihan eh. Nandiyan na nga yung face mask, nandiyan pa yung helmet, bakit kinakailangan pa maglagay ng barrier? Maglalagay-lagay ka ng barrier, pagbaba ni misis magki-kiss… Useless yung barrier!”
