Nadine Lustre hits back at Jobert Sucaldito who appeared at Congress hearing on ABS-CBN franchise

Nadine Lustre took to social media to react to Jobert Sucaldito’s appearance at the House of Representatives’ hearing on ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal on Monday, June 29.

It can be recalled that the entertainment writer and radio host was suspended indefinitely on his program on DZMM after he told Nadine during his radio program to just jump off a building.

According to the Twitter post of the House of Representative, Jobert stated that, “Nalulungkot ako lalo everytime I would hear Sir Carlo Katigbak saying that they are concerned about the people who will lose jobs kasi kawawa naman sila, walang makain. But what about us?”

Nadine then clapped back at Jobert on her Instagram stories.

“You’re not seeing the bigger picture, Mr. Sucaldito. It’s messed up how you are completely unashamed of what you said. It’s never okay to push someone to commit suicide. I can’t believe you’re using this issue to fight our home network whose only objective is to protect us. Kahit pagbali-baliktarin mo, mali ‘yung sinabi mo. Inalis ka sa trabaho dahil MALI ‘YUNG SINABI MO and how is this even on Congress?! Someone enlighten me. PLS.”

“Ikaw na nga ‘yung sinabihan na tumalon tapos parang kasalanan mo pa?? I’m sick and tired of these boomers treating mental issues like it’s a mf joke. Ayoko na. ‘Di ko na kaya mga ganap mumsh!”

Nadine Lustre is a multi-awarded film and television actress in the Philippines. She made history in 2019 after winning 4 Best Actress awards from various award-giving bodies.

It can be remembered that Nadine called out entertainment writer Ricky Lo because of the article he wrote, where he claimed that she and James Reid have broken up. Jobert Sucaldito then defended Ricky and expressed his dislike over Nadine's Instagram post against his fellow showbiz commentator. He even aired his "Sana tumalon na lang" remark to the actress.

Nadine and James confirmed last January that they have ended their romantic relationship.
