Vice Ganda recently aired his honest reaction after knowing that his “Quiboloy” joke was used in Congress to tackle the controversial shutdown of ABS-CBN.
KAMI learned that the prominent comedian was blamed by many people for challenging Pastor Apollo Quiboloy to end the stint of “Ang Probinsyano” on national television.
The said self-proclaimed “son of God” responded to the “It’s Showtime” host by asking when does he want to stop the operation of the said show and the entire ABS-CBN.
“When do you want it stopped? One month? Two months? Four months? You choose,” the pastor stated.
“Maybe in four months, it’s not just 'Probinsyano' that comes to a stop, maybe it’s your network too,” he added.
The video of the controversial challenge of Vice was used by Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta when he ended his speech during the Congress hearing on May 26.
That became the reason why the celebrity posted a short message on social media that took a swipe at the said politician for using the said joke.
“Hahahhaah!!!! Take the joke seriously. Take the congressman as a joke. Chugug!!!” he exclaimed.
“New normal. Ibalik ang ABS-CBN,” he added through hashtags.
In a previous article by KAMI, the “premonition” of Pastor Quiboloy resurfaced online after the controversial closure of the Kapamilya network.
Vice Ganda is considered as one of the most prominent showbiz personalities in the Philippines. He already starred in many blockbuster movies including “Petrang Kabayo” and “Praybeyt Benjamin.”
