Kaye Abad and Paul Jake Castillo started out as friends six years ago. The Kapamilya star and the ex-PBB Housemate confirmed that they’re officially in a relationship two years ago. Since then, the two have gone out on multiple dates including overseas trips and triathlete marathons.
Now, Paul Jake has finally put a ring on Kaye’s finger to prove that he wants to be with her for eternity.
Last May 17, on her birthday, Kaye experienced one of the best nights of her life at Bellevue Hotel’s rooftop.
Kaye thought she was only being surprised on her birthday last May 17 but the actual surprise was yet to happen. She looked happy and excited as Paul Jake brought her to the Bellevue hotel rooftop. Friends and families gave her roses and balloons and also presented her birthday cake.
The proposal Then suddenly, Paul Jake knelt and proposed to Kaye. He gave a heartwarming speech before asking Kaye to marry him: “We started off as friends tapos naging partner in crime kita, best friend. Tapos hindi mo napigilan, ginawa mo akong boyfriend." (We started off as friends then you became my partner in crime, best friend. Then you just couldn’t help it, you made me your boyfriend.) He presented a ring and asked: "Now I'd like to seal it – will you marry me?"
And she said “Yes!”

The actress was shocked with delight and crying with tears of joy. She couldn’t stop crying starting when Paul Jake knelt to the ground and presented her a ring.
