Judy Ann Santos opens up about the day she told Yohan she was adopted

Judy Ann Santos has always been proud of her eldest daughter, Yohan. The relationship between Juday and Yohan, being the actress's adopted child, is one that could truly inspire a lot of families today.

In an interview on PUSH Bets Live, KAMI learned that Judy Ann opened up about the day that she explained to Yohan about the setup of their family. It was in 2005 that she became a mom to Yohan, the actress's 26th birthday.

As per Push, Judy Ann said that early on during their relationship, when there were only the two of them, she knew that Yohan already understood. She told her and explained it to her because she didn't want her daughter to hold a grudge against her if she would keep the truth from her.

She gave great emphasis on the importance of being honest with your children, especially with social media.

"Ang fear ko kasi may ibang taong mag marunong at mag-atribida na sabihin tapos not in nice context tapos maging iba yung dating doon sa bata," the actress narrated.

At that point, she crossed her fingers and simply lifted everything to God. Now, she and her daughter are comfortable with their relationship. She was able to make Yohan understand that "being adopted is not a bad thing."

"I adopt you because I want you to be my family. I chose you," Juday further stated.

The 41-year-old actress also instilled in Yohan that she was the first one who came before Daddy Ryan. She emphasized that she was a mother before becoming a wife, which at first, Yohan found a bit confusing but later came to understand.

Now, Judy Ann is very happy with how Yohan has grown. The lovely girl is bound to celebrate her 15th birthday in November.
