Angel Locsin defends Vico Sotto; slams Koko Pimentel

Angel Locsin took to social media after learning about the news that Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has been summoned by the NBI for supposedly violating the Bayanihan to Heal As One Act, which mandates local government units (LGUs) to comply with national guidelines.
KAMI learned that Locsin defended the beloved Pasig mayor, saying that Sotto does not deserve to be summoned by the NBI.
She added that it is Senator Koko Pimentel who deserves to be summoned for breaching quarantine protocols after he tested positive for COVID-19.
“Hindi ako nag mamarunong sa batas, pero sa opinyon ko, si Koko ang dapat ipatawag at hindi si Vico,” Locsin tweeted.
In a later tweet, the Kapamilya star also questioned why no charges have been filed against Pimentel even if it is already known that he broke quarantine protocols.
“So, alam nyo na hindi sya pwedeng lumabas kasi quaratine sya. Bakit wala pang kaso? Worst, bakit hindi pa sya nag re-resign???” the actress posted.
