Mocha Uson called her ‘pabebe’ comment against Vico Sotto ‘fake news’

Mocha Uson has defended herself after supporters of Mayor Vico Sotto attacked her for allegedly railing against the Pasig City chief executive’s initiative.
Recently, #ProtectVico became trending on Twitter following a post from Mocha Uson Blog Facebook page which called Vico pabebe due to his decision to partially lift the transportation ban in the city and allow tricycles to transport healthcare workers and patients.
“Eto yung sinasabi ko eh. Kaya ng ibang lugar bakit eto si Mayor Sotto pabebe? Bukas paguusapan natin ito. Papaliwanag ko kung bakit sablay ang pabebe ni Sotto. Pero ang appeal ko sa DILG bakit parang kayo pa ang nakikiusap sa Mayor? Apply the LAW and be strict parang walang PANDEMIC ah,” the post stated.
However, the Deputy Executive Director of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration later on clarified that the blog page named after her is composed of multiple admins who are allowed to practice free speech.
She explained that not everything shared on Mocha Uson Blog reflects her sentiments and the post that gained many backlash from netizens and political critics was written by a certain Banat By.
“FYI, Mocha Uson Blog FB page is now composed of different bloggers and admins. We practice free speech though we differ in opinions on different matters. So, saying that I am against VICO SOTTO is FAKE NEWS since it was posted by another admin. I hope this clears everything,” Mocha posted on Twitter.
