In a series of posts in her Instagram story, the Kapuso actress showed the process of designing her spare masks with old Hermes and Chanel ribbons.
The creative actress crafted her own fashionable masks with the help of her friends.
“We are coming up with masks that are (prettier),” Heart said amid the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
“Because life goes on and there’s work, and wala akong choice.”
“We are making ourselves fashionably safe,” she shared.

Shortly after Heart tweeted a photo of her wearing one of their handiworks, people on Twitter had wondered where to avail those “designer” masks.
She then explained, “Naku po! DIY po yung masks ko. Wala pong mask ang Hermes! Ginamit ko lang po ang ribbon ng mga paper bag! Check my ig stories for ideas!”
“You can use any ribbon! Some are from perfume boxes!” Heart responded.
One lucky Twitter user even scored one creative face mask from the actress.
“You want me to send you one? I have been making masks for my family while at home using old ribbons :) meron kasi ako mga extra masks na bigay lang. I can make one for you, pls check dm,” she told to a netizen.
Heart said she is giving away the designed face masks to her friends and relatives.
