Mike Enriquez immediately became the subject of hilarious discussions on social media because of his recent report on the news program entitled “24 Oras.”

KAMI learned that the veteran broadcast-journalist mentioned about the novel coronavirus after he suddenly coughed up while delivering his report.

Coincidentally, the award-winning news anchor was reminding Filipinos about the said illness when the funny moment transpired.

After coughing, he was quick to point out on national television that it had nothing to do with the virus and that he was not infected with it.

“Excuse me po! Hindi po yun coronavirus!” he exclaimed.

The much-talked-about incident has since become a meme on various social media platforms.
