Indonesian officials spray antiseptic to passengers who came from Wuhan, China

It has been recently reported that officials sprayed antiseptic to the passengers who came from Wuhan, China, upon their arrival in Indonesia.

KAMI learned that the video was shared online when the passengers arrived on February 2 at the Hang Nadim Airport in Batam, Indonesia.

In a report by the Business Insider (authored by Connor Perrett), as of posting time, there is no confirmed case of the 2019 novel coronavirus yet in Indonesia.

As seen in the video, individuals wearing yellow hazmat suits and backpacks with a label that read “ALKOHOL.”

As reported by The Jakarta Post, the passengers of the flight are those who had been trapped in Wuhan and other cities in Hubei province.

"All have been declared healthy according to World Health Organization standards," the spokesperson of Indonesian President Joko Widodo said.

Meanwhile, the netizens were pleased to know the precautionary measures that Indonesia did for its residents amid the 2019 novel coronavirus scare globally. Here are some of their comments on the Facebook post Inquirer:
