KAMI learned that there are some side jobs that OFWs can do while working abroad.
Here are 5 rakets that OFWs can try, as reported by the OFW Tambayan:
Buy and Sell
Since Pinoys are fond of imported goods, it could be helpful to buy sale items abroad where you work and sell it here in the Philippines; to your family and friends.
Selling it online is also an option. You could directly ship the items to your customers.
Food Business
If you know you have a skill in cooking or baking, you might want to consider having a food business. You can start with small goods like desserts or snacks than you can easily do at home.
Abroad, you could start making Filipino dishes that lots of OFWs surely miss. You can start a catering business for small Filipino gatherings or reunions.
Money Lending
Money is a necessity for most people. You may want to try a money lending business. This is quite risky so make sure you only lend money you can afford to lose because there are people who might not pay debts and just disappear no matter what your relation is to the person.

Blogging or Vlogging
Nowadays, people are fond of watching relatable vlogs and reading blogs. This could be an option for you if you spend a lot of time on the Internet and would like to share your stories or experiences.
Sharing your content on Facebook, YouTube, and other social media platforms can bring you good money given that you have enough and steady readers or viewers.
Party Planning
If you have party planning skills, you might want to turn it into some cash by organizing events or small gatherings since Filipinos are fond of get-togethers or reunions.
This could be risky because it might clash with your main job, but as long as you can manage your time, then you can ace both.
