Nyoy Volante talked about the story behind the hit song "Someday" which he composed and originally sung by Niña.
KAMI learned that the Tawag ng Tanghalan judge shared the heartbreaking story on ABS-CBN's Tonight with Boy Abunda on Tuesday.
Nyoy admitted that he based the song from his personal experience and it also serves as a message to those who just went through heartbreak and feel they deserve someone better.
"Of course, it's something personal. Nangyari naman talaga sa akin ‘yun, e.”
"But it's also an anthem - an anthem for people who deserve someone better. Kasi ang daming ganung kuwento na mahal na mahal mo ‘yung boyfriend or girlfriend mo, pero hindi ka tinatrato nang mas maayos."
"Eventually napagod ka na lang and you’ll say na, ‘Alam mo balang araw, may magmamahal sa akin the way I deserve to be loved.’”
Meanwhile, the singer-songwriter revealed that he has written a few songs, including one that is dedicated to his wife, that he is looking forward to releasing soon.
