Before Mariel Padilla held her first and second baby with husband Robin Padilla, she suffered two painful miscarriages that really broke her heart.
KAMI learned that the heartbreaking incidents happened in 2015, just five years after the two prominent celebrities tied the knot at the Taj Mahal in India.
Her first painful miscarriage happened in March, and it was probably one of the saddest moments in the life of the gorgeous actress.
She was two months pregnant during that time but the baby did not develop. Mariel could not help but post heart-stirring messages on her social media account.
“Not all days are happy... some days are sad. #byecutiepie,” she wrote.
“I am waiting to bleed anytime now. Doctor says it's a miscarriage… Sharing with all of you my journey. I don’t have it all figured out yet but I know with all the prayers, love, and support that you are all bestowing upon me, I will get through this,” she added.

A few months after her first miscarriage, it was in August, the well-known celebrity lost her supposedly second children with husband Robin.
The actress was carrying triplets at that time but all of them lost their heartbeats. She had a breakdown after knowing the sad news, but her partner decided to take her out of the country for a vacation.
"And then I lose the heartbeat. So iyon talaga, nag breakdown na ako doon... I was really going to lose it already,” she stated in her previous interview.
“I was about to go dark, I was bitter, I was not in a good place. And then Robin took me out of the country and he reassured me that the world would be okay even if it was just the two of us. He was able to make something bad positive,” she added.
