American actress Kelley Mack, best known for her role in The Walking Dead, has died following a battle with glioma of the central nervous system, a rare cancer. She was 33.

The unfortunate news was confirmed by her sister, Kathryn, through a statement posted on Kelley’s official Instagram account on Wednesday, August 6.
According to the heartbreaking post, Kelley passed peacefully on Saturday evening, August 2, surrounded by loved ones, including her mother Kristen and aunt Karen.
“It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley. Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go.”
