Rhea Santos confirmed that a Filipino may have been among those who died in the Vancouver incident yesterday evening.
According to the former 'Unang Hirit' host, a Filipino citizen has created a 'GoFundMe' account asking for financial help.
She also mentioned that the authorities in Vancouver, Canada, have not yet released any information regarding the identities of the casualties.
As of now, she confirmed that 11 people have died from the incident and dozens more were injured, with many still in critical condition.

As it turned out, Santos was one of the hosts of the said event, but she left at 4 PM.
Santos also shared that since it was a Filipino event, there were a lot of Filipinos present when the incident happened. However, she shared that the event was also open to other nationalities.
The former 'Kapuso' veteran anchor and host said there were thousands of people that night.
"I don't really want to speculate, even 'yung mga authorities dito hindi sila naglalabas ng mga identity nitong 11 casualties. Pero, 'Igan.' what I can confirm siguro at lumabas na naman, may mga 'GoFundMe' account na. Well, I can say may isang kababayan tayo, may GoFundMe na para sa isang kababayan nating humihingi ng tulong para maiuwi 'yung labi niya sa Pilipinas," said Santos in her interview with Arnold Clavio.

The SUV driver, a 30-year-old male, was chased by the people until he was arrested by the police authorities.
