After nearly ten months in a Philippine detention facility, controversial Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy is back on home soil and he has a lot to say about his time behind bars. Following his deportation in early January 2026, the vlogger took to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to give his followers a glimpse of what he called a grueling experience.

Vitaly, known for his high-stakes pranks and massive following of over 10 million subscribers, shared photos of himself during his arrival in Russia alongside shots from inside the Philippine jail. He did not hold back in describing the environment he lived in for 290 days. “After 290 days in the Philippines jail with rats, cockroaches, and +35 Celsius weather, I am finally free,” he wrote. The vlogger also claimed that he was subjected to 91 days of complete isolation during his stay.
Despite the hardships, Vitaly maintained a defiant tone, telling his fans that the experience served to strengthen him rather than crush his spirit. “They really tried to break me, but it built me. They wanted me gone but I’m here, all glory to GOD!” he added. He also announced that he would soon release a full documentary detailing his time in the Philippines.
The vlogger's legal troubles began in April 2025. He traveled to the Philippines and began filming prank content, but his actions quickly drew heavy criticism from the public and local officials. Authorities apprehended him after he uploaded videos showing him harassing Filipinos and performing stunts in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, that violated local laws. Before his deportation, Vitaly had even reached out to Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) officials to request the dropping of charges, but the government remained firm in its enforcement of local regulations.
