Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have split up nearly two years after their rekindled romance.

This came after the singer, 28, allegedly struck Yolanda Hadid, 57, the mother of the supermodel, 26, during an argument about the safety and privacy of his one-year-old daughter with Gigi named Khai, as per The Mercury News.
Zayn later on addressed the said allegation on Twitter:

In a statement to People, a Hadid family friend said Gigi and Zayn are currently working on a co-parenting setup.
"They are not together right now. They are both good parents though. They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild."
"Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time," Gigi’s representative told People.
According to Yahoo News, Gigi and Zayn began dating in 2015 and, though they took a few breaks, they last reunited in 2019.
Gigi Hadid is a popular international fashion model. She is the daughter of reality star Yolanda Hadid and real estate developer Mohamed Hadid. She has been in an on-and-off relationship with Zayn since 2015.
In September 2020, Zayn confirmed that his girlfriend Gigi had already given birth to their baby. Zayn and Gigi took to their Instagram accounts to announce the good news.
Last month, LJ Reyes uploaded a video of a fashion show she attended where one of the models is the Gigi. In the said video that LJ uploaded, she did not hide the fact that she was star-struck by the beauty of the popular supermodel. Earlier, LJ flew to the US with her children after splitting up with her partner, Paolo Contis.
