Korean author Baek Se-hee, known for her bestselling memoir I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki, has passed away at the age of 35.

Reports said she helped save five lives after donating her organs.

The Korea Organ Donation Agency confirmed that her heart, lungs, liver, and both kidneys were successfully given to those in need.

Her 2018 book gained worldwide attention for its honest and emotional take on mental health.
