A man attempted a deceptive scheme on the road in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Captured by a dash camera, a driver was peacefully driving along the road when something unexpected occurred.

The driver slowed down upon seeing a man who appeared to be about to cross the road, but instead of crossing, the man did something else.

He suddenly ran toward the car and forcibly climbed onto its hood for an unknown reason.

The driver tried to reverse, but the man chased him and tried climbing onto the hood again.

When the man had the chance, he succeeded, and he seemed to be shoving his own face and body onto the windshield of the car.

Even some of the passing motorists were trying to stop the man by honking their horns continuously.

Finally, the driver decided to stop while the man was up on his car.

According to the authorities, what the driver witnessed was a modus.

In a report by TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas Weekend,' it was a dirty scheme.

The man was trying to pretend and make it look like he was hit by the car to extort money from the driver.

Authorities are now looking for the man in the video.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
