A bank in Gijang Busan, South Korea, was gripped by a terrifying moment when a man armed with a "gun" wrapped in black plastic robbed a bank. But the gun turned out to be a water gun with a dinosaur design.

In a video by GMA Integrated Newsfeed, the suspect, wearing a mask and jacket, entered the bank, carrying an attache case.

Within moments, he declared a holdup and pointed the "gun" at people.

The money he demanded was worth 50,000 won, which is just over P2,000.

But while he was making people kneel in the bank, a man dared to grab the suspect until he fell to the ground.

People helped hold the suspect down until the police arrived.

When police examined the suspect's "gun," they found it to be a water gun with a dinosaur design.

"People might find it clumsy or even humorous that a water gun was inside the plastic bag. But at the time, the situation was extremely serious and frightening, leaving women employees and customers in fear," a bank official said.

The 30-year-old suspect is in police custody. Authorities have not revealed the suspect's motive for the robbery.
