An artificial lake being managed by Hong Kong Disneyland was closed indefinitely after a partially burned body was discovered in the area.

In Philstar Life's report, Hong Kong Disneyland confirmed the news on their website and said the lake will remain closed until much further notice.

Several police officers and the Fire Services Department were then called into the area to investigate the partially burned body in the area.

Sources mentioned that the body was discovered at the base of a tree, by a couple jogging near the center that afternoon, as reported by The Standard.

The victim's identity is still under investigation and the cause of death is still pending an autopsy.

In South China Morning Post's article, the 12-hectare Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre is located at Penny's Bay, about 1km from Hong Kong Disneyland.
